Vegan Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
I love Pumpkin pie just about any time of the year but come fall I seem to crave the scents of the cinnamon and spices and pumpkin! Being on a high protein low carb diet right now I didn’t want to miss out on having a little treat! I tried this fabulous Vegan Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Smoothie recipe and made a wonderful smoothie with it. I hope you enjoy this too…packed with protein and flavor!
Ingredients for the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie:
1 cup home-made almond milk or you could use unsweetened Almond milk
1/4 cup canned pumpkin
3 Tablespoons protein powder
2 whole cloves
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup crushed ice or more depending how thick you like your smoothie
Truvia – 1 individual packet which is a scant teaspoon ( I prefer the flavor of Sugar in the Raw )
Blend on high speed until ice and whole cloves are ground and drink is consistency you like. Pour into tall glass and savor!
What better way to start a morning than with Vegan Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!

My Father in law has celliac and I’ve been learning more about being gluten free. My fiancee has taught me so much about gluten free cooking and living. I showed her this recipe and we are going to buy everything and then make it at his house (because all of his cooking utensils are dedicated gluten free) I think he’ll really like this, and it looks like an easy treat.
Jenn, thanks for sharing and I hope you enjoy this.
This looks heavenly! I’m going to share this with my sister, she’s gluten-intolerant and her daughter is vegan, I know they would both love this! Thanks for the recipe!
My daugher loves pumpkin, I cannot wait to try this, thanks!!

I have been looking for gluten-free foods and drinks and I am so glad I found this. This sounds amazingly delicious and just in time for the fall season. I am going to try this smoothie out along with a few other recipes you have shared. Thank you so much!
Lanie, I’d love to hear how they turned out.
I myself am not a vegan but I have some family members that are. But that doesnt mean I cant enjoy some of your recipes. This pumpkin pie smoothie sound really good. We just cooked off our pumpkins that we grew this year so we’re all set now for all the pumpkin recipes . Thanks for sharing this one
ANN*H, Oh I am trying to grow pumpkins in Alaska but its really hard in the area I live.
I’m going to have to buy them at the farmers market
I love anything and everything pumpkin! I’m definitely going to have to try this smoothie out. I’ve never thought to pair it with almond milk, but I bet it tastes amazing. Thanks for the recipe!
I found the post on “Low Vitamin D Levels Linked to Teen Psychosis” very interesting. It show how important Vitamin is in our lives.
Merle, Thanks for looking around. I’m a huge advocate of needing higher doses of Vit D
I’ ve been considering going vegan for quite some time, and the more recipes like this that I encounter, the easier the decision is going to be!
Miranda, good for you!
Oh thanks for this Colleen. I’ve been so sick with Candida, I’ve lost 30lb because I have a hard time finding something to eat. This I think I can have. I just have to use a Stevia that doesn’t have maladextros in it and I think I would drink this every morning.
Trish, I’m so sorry…Candida is hard to cure and not the way you want to lose weight.
I hope this recipes helps you.
That sounds really yummy. Can’t wait to give it a try.
I’m a sucker for anything pumpkin! = ) My blender is kinda wimpy though, so I’m going to try it with a bit of ground cloves instead of the whole ones.
Em, I’m sure the ground cloves will work just fine. I have a high power blender and use whole things most of the time and forget that others don’t have that kind of blender.
This sounds yummy! And it’s the perfect time to have it. Maybe I should make some of these for Thanksgiving and not tell anyone that they are vegan and gluten free.
this sounds so yummy! i am glad the holidays are around the corner because i love trying to new things , but i love it more when i get my friend and family to do it first ; )
Oh, my goodness! This sounds amazing! I am looking for new gluten-free recipes for my mom’s group. I would so try this! Thanks!
This sound really good. May have to try it.

I absolutely LOVE anything pumpkin and I’ve been trying to find healthier ways to make things I love. I stumbled upon this recipe and I’m so glad I did because this looks & sounds delicious and I cannot wait to try this out! Thanks so much for this great recipe.
Kelly…I hope you enjoyed it.
This sounds very tasty, and healthy! Thanks for the giveaway.
This sounds really yummy, and I love pumpkin, but I gotta admit. The old bartender in me wonders what it would be like as a alcohlic drink. Not that I would do it for myself. lol
Hmmmm what flavor liquor would you use???
I’m not usually down with vegan or GF recipes, but I must admit this sounds AMAZING!! I think I will add this to my list of pumpkin goodies this holiday season! Thanks
This looks so good. I’m going to have to go out and get some more pumpkin
this looks yummy! and we won’t tell my girls its good for them!! <3
This would be a fun smoothie to make for my teenagers.
I love pumpkin and this sounds ymmy!!
ooooo!!! I have almond milk and pumpkin, and I was wondering what to make – this is a MUST TRY ASAP!!!! Thank u for posting, I wonder why these ideas never come to me, but I’m glad they do to you and that u share! Hubby has been nagging me to make something pumpkin flavored for him, maybe I will try this out. I’m not a fan of pumpkin much, but he’s obsessed and I’ve never heard of this before. Thanks!
